sneak peek

good morning!

i have absolutely ZERO time to blog today, but wanted to post a quick sneak peek of yesterday's shoot with an adorable family who i had a blast with. life and everything seems to have kicked it up a notch, so when i said i was busy before, i had NO idea how busy i could potentially be! ;) however, life is good and hopefully oneday soon i'll catch up with my blog posting because i have so many pretty pictures to share.

a few weeks back, i shot this beautiful family of five in upstate new york. well... today their lives changed dramatically as the sixth member made his appearance! these fun, energetic, and sweet little girls now have a baby brother to torture... er, um, i mean "play" with. ;)

happy birthday little jonathan, and i'm looking forward to meeting you later this month for an updated family shoot!

heart for a tin man (band)

while in oregon for a short visit, i met up with this band to shoot a few promo photos to go along with their edgy, progressive rock sound. being a huge lover of all things art and especially music, i can't wait to go to some of their shows this summer and keep tabs on them as they record and release new stuff!

the best day... already!

how do you begin a day at 5am and have it start off on such an amazing note?

let me give you a list and tell you how. why, you ask? simple. because i love lists and i love today.

a) looking at this photo which is quite nearly magical (taken yesterday)... sheesh, what a gorgeous little girl.


b) waking up to a chorus of birds chirping up a storm right outside my open bedroom window. how great is that!? (also great: warm weather. we begin this month with snow in upstate ny and end it with pseudo-summer! not complaining!)

c) reading an amazingly sweet good-morning email from a certain guy, who, you know, is "alright." ;)

d) seeing an unexpected shout out on my friends and favorite photograph-ing pair's blog. GET OUT OF HERE.

e) more wedding and family shoot inquiries than i can keep up with, on both the east and west coast, and realizing this may be the beginning of spending the majority of my time on something i absolutely love. how amazing is that!?!!!!. !!!. !.

i may add to this list throughout the day. but there are some basics of why today rocks my world. :) i am humbled and thankful and excited about sharing with you where this little business goes. if you've helped me, encouraged me, or supported me in any way as i've gotten this thing off the ground in the past year (or even in years past when photography was just a hobby!), i want you to know that i appreciate it more than i can say... thank you.

mind-blowing

in the past few weeks, i've been trying to keep my eye out for amazing beauty found in nature. didn't really have to look too hard, :), as it is absolutely EVERYWHERE. check out these four shots from a few days spent in oregon:









wow. just wow. created things (not from human hands) that have such detail and imagination- simply amazing!

this would've been a good blog post to put up about a week ago. whoops. :)

i've been a bit MIA, visiting a town that i love on the west coast for this guy's birthday. (see photo below for evidence :))



yeah, you know, whatever... he's alright. ;)

ANYWAY.

i shot a terrific band (heart for a tin man) while on the west coast, will post a few photos soon.

been trying to get back to my photographic roots a bit and shoot more nature-y things. while on the other side of the country i got a few photos i really enjoy, just for bits of inspiration and beauty in my day to day life. i'll share with ya'.

easter sunday i documented terra nova church's service (troy, ny), and those photos, although different than my average shoots, are some of my new favorites.

also... lots of family shoots to post and talk about. met some amazing people, and totally had a blast with their cute kids. :) such a privilege to capture families as they grow and change!

for now, i have plenty to catch up on and if you're waiting for a return email or phone call to schedule your own shoot, i apologize for the delay. i'll get back to you as soon as i can! all the blogging i'm behind on will have to wait until another day, but i'll get to it eventually- these photos are too fun to keep to myself. :)

fair warning... this blog post will be a little photo-heavy. haha. hope it's not a problem for you- it's not for me, because i can't get enough of this family. they're absolutely beautiful!

this shoot was a few weeks back, and they were wonderful and charming and up for almost anything i threw out there. by the end of the shoot the girls and i were like old friends :) some of the photos i snagged are current favorites of mine- these kids are just too cute!

i feel like this is family photo season and later in spring and summer will be packed with weddings... it's a little strange how many famiy shoots i've had in the past few months and how many weddings i have coming up around the bend! still booking family shoots (and senior portraits!) in new york for may and june- if you're interested in booking one of your own, send me an email: noble.nj (at) gmail dot com.
